Condolence Reference at ICCI for Peshawar victims December 19, 2014
Meeting at ICCI
 
Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a condolence reference to remember the Army Public School Peshawar victims. Muzammil Hussain Sabri President, Muhammad Shakeel Munir Senior Vice President and Muhammad Ashfaq Hussain Chatha Vice President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Abdul Rauf Alam, Chairman Founder Group, Munawar Mughal Vice President FPCCI, former Presidents ICCI Tariq Sadiq, Zubair Ahmed Malik, Ejaz Abbasi, Zahid Maqbool, Khalid Iqbal Malik, Baser Daud and a large number of business community attended the reference.
 
Speaking at the occasion, Muzammil Hussain Sabri, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry stressed that the state should show zero tolerance towards terrorists for establishing sustainable peace in the country. He said the country was already passing through a tough phase and the Peshawar incident has left the whole nation in a state of shock. He called upon all the political leaders and stakeholders to sit together and deliberate on how we can purge the country of the scourge of terrorism.
 
Abdul Rauf Alam, Chairman Founder Group said the terrorists committed a barbaric act which has no example in the world. He said we as a nation has to fight against this menace. He urged the government to strengthen the intelligence agencies and provide them best resources to overcome this issue. 
 
Munawar Mughal, Vice President, FPCCI said some international forces were working to destabilize Pakistan and we should expose such forces in the national interest. He said the terrorists should be hanged to set an example for others.
 
The participants expressed condolence and heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved families and prayed to Almighty Allah to keep the departed souls of innocent students and teachers who embraced martyr in eternal peace and also give courage to the bereaved families. They also prayed for the early recovery of the injured persons. The cowardice act of the terrorists was condemned with a prayer to Almighty Allah to protect the country from all kinds of terrorisms and troubles.
