ICCI new President urges business community to play effective role for economic development of the country October 01, 2016
Meeting at ICCI
Khalid Iqbal Malik, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry has called upon the business community to play more effective role for the economic development and promoting soft image of the country. He said businessmen have to utilize their best capabilities to make Pakistan a progressive and forward looking country. He said this after taking over charge as President ICCI for the year 2016-17.
He said during his tenure, he would place the right person at the right job to make ICCI more efficient and effective trade body of this region. He said he has started his work from the very first day and very soon Chairmen of all Sub-Committees of the Chamber would be constituted to take better care of the issues of traders and industrialists of respective fields.
Khalid Iqbal Malik is the most senior member of ICCI and has been a member of its Supreme Council for the last 13 years. He is an honest, hardworking and social personality and is associated with automobile business.
Speaking at the occasion, Khalid Javed, Chairman Founder Group said he was quite confident that Khalid Iqbal Malik would deliver up to the expectations of business community and would be able to make ICCI one of the top trade bodies of the country. 
Khalid Malik Senior Vice President and Tahir Ayub Vice President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry assured that under the leadership of Khalid Iqbal Malik, they would play their best role for resolving the key issues of business community. They said that local business community was facing many issues from CDA, FBR and other organizations and strong unity in their ranks was required to get the problems resolved.
