MNA assures businessmen to play role for resolving their issues May 18, 2010

A Duayia ceremony of D.Watson Group of Pharmacies and Super Stores was held at Bahara Kahu. Dr. Tariq Fazal, Member National Assembly and Mr.Zahid Maqbool, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) were the chief guest of the ceremony.

Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Tariq Fazal said that businessmen are playing a key role in the development of national economy and being a member of National Assembly, he  will play his due role for resolving all their problems.

He said D.Watson is rendering useful services to humanity by providing high quality medicines and hoped that with the opening of its outlet in Bahara Kahu, people of the area will also be to avail its quality products.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr.Zahid Maqbool said that government should have taken businessmen into confidence before introducing VAT and expressed fear that VAT will cause more inflation apart from putting extra burden on trade and industry.

He said D.Watson has established a good credibility in Islamabad and is considered a high valued brand. That is why people prefer to buy medicines and other items from D.Watson stores that are operating in different sectors of Islamabad.

Mr.Zafar Bakhtawari, Chairman D.Watson Group of Pharmacies and Super Stores addressing the ceremony said that success of D.Watson is due to the good services of its employees. He said we consider our employees as business partners. He said that D.Watson Group will continue to open more stores in Islamabad and hoped that people of Bahara Kahu area will be benefited a lot by the presence of D.Watson outlet in the area.
