ICCI Delegation Meets Muslim League (Q) Leaders



The newly elected President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) Mr.Zubair Ahmed Malik, former Presidents ICCI Mian Akram Farid, Munawar Moughal, executive members Malik Sohail Hussain, Muzammal Sabri, Zafar Bakhtawari, Arshad Khan, Asad Rashid and Rizwan Sadiq called on Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, President of Pakistan Muslim League (Q) and Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, Chief Minister of Punjab and Mr.Salim Saifullah, General Secretary of Muslim League (Q). Former Presi-dent of ICCI Mr.Munawar Mughal introduced the delegation to the Muslim League leaders. The delegation appreciated the efforts of the Muslim League leaders to unite the different Leagues under the banner of Quaid-e-Azam's Muslim League. They also ex-pressed their gratitude for the tiring and unflinching efforts of the political leaders for focusing on future development and various measures for the reduction of poverty in Pakistan.

Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and his colleagues welcomed ICCI's delegation and expressed the view that the Chamber's location in the Federal Capital provides the business community of Islamabad a significantly important role in sharing their efforts for the formulation of Government policies focusing on the welfare of the people, employment generation and promotion of both domestic and foreign investment.

Chaudhry Shujaat paid special tribute to Mr.Zubair Ahmed Malik and Ch.Mukhtar Ahmed on their unopposed election as the Presi-dent and SVP ICCI and expressed the hope that he would devote his efforts and energies for the welfare of the business community. He indicated that he would always be available for any consultation or help needed by the Chamber to solve the problems of the business community at all levels.
